Every trip to Anaheim inexorably leads me to waffle sandwiches. (at Bruxie)
Mr. & Mrs. Chris and Deanna Kaplan!
Absolutely gorgeous photography by the talented Kaitlin Walsh.
Photos by one of my favorite photographers - Kaitlin Walsh. Leave it her to take one of the most famous, most photographed buildings in Los Angeles and find a whole new way to look at.
This is the Bradbury Building which is just absolutely beautiful. It’s been the location for shooting many different movies including Blade Runner, and 500 Days of Summer.
Andrea knew this place existed, but we had no idea where it was, or what exactly the name was. But we had fantastic timing and luck. When she brought it up I walked up to the nearest brick building and looked in the windowed door. And there it was! Unmistakable with all it’s awesome wrought iron.
We pulled on the door and it was open! No way! We entered slowly, unsure of whether or not to hide our cameras or start snapping away. No one seemed to mind that we were there. So, picture time!
I’d love to go back with a wider lens. Its just the coolest place, and now I know where it is!
So at Christmas my grandma opens her liqueur cabinet and tells everyone they should take some bottles because she doesn’t use them. All of them were roughly from the 1970s or so. We took a few, I was going to try and bring the Johnny Walker back in my checked bag, but there just wasn’t any room.
But the labels are just so cool. I’m a sucker for vintage designs and I couldn’t pass up taking a few pictures.
Another testament to Kaitlin Walsh’s photographic eye. I love this.
…what the hell just happened here. Wow.
Perfection.
This is one of the best things I’ve ever seen.
The best thing.
This makes me so happy.
